ELEUTHERA, BAHAMAS, WINTER 2001, WEEK 3

Week 3 (commencing 1st December 2001):

Peter "Doc" & Carol "Camel" Goodwin, Barry Lloyd, Chris Bradford, Danny Barber & Dale Wigley with BfG & Anne

We arrived with good weather and reports of large numbers of fish starting to show up. By Monday afternoon we had all caught bonefish on fly. The wind blew strong out of the north-east until Thursday then the tail end of Hurricane Olga, now down-graded to a "tropical storm", dumped copious amounts of rain on us which seemed to improve the fishing (we caught 14 bones that day!)......

For those who are interested in statistics:
During the week we all caught bonefish, 42 in total: Doc & Chris caught 10 each, Barry 3, Danny 2, Dale 5 and BfG 12. Doc & BfG caught the biggest at 4¼lb each
