Garcia Mitchell 710 Automatic Fly Reel (French made, circa 1970s)

3¼" diameter with trigger-operated clockwork retrieve which is wound up automatically when line is pulled from reel (can also be wound up manually to increase power). Features include a ceramic line guide and a slipping clutch to prevent breakage of line or clockwork mechanism. Ambidextrous design. Excellent condition. Fitted with WF8F/S sink tip line and supplied with photo-copy of page 18 from 1972 Mitchell catalogue illustrating this reel....

Hardy Bros Ltd “PERFECT” LEFT-HAND-WIND 3³/8" (circa 1980)

Rare left-hand-wind 3³/8" diameter Perfect with hard ceramic line guide. Complete with spare spool. Mint condition complete with original zippered case (slightly tatty). Hardys have recently reintroduced several sizes of Perfects and although they are not currently making a 3³/8" model; the 3¹/8" model with spare spool retails for £998.00!

4" diameter traditional alluminium salmon reel of superior quality throughout (probably made for Walker Bampton by Dingley, circa 1930) with strong fixed click check, ebonite handle knob with brass fittings, nickel silver line roller, aluminium foot (mounted with 4 steel screws) lightly filed at one end but full length (see photos) otherwise excellent condition, primarily for right hand wind but could be converted to LHW on request...
