Early French made claw-bail predecessor of the famous 300. This is the 3rd version, made from 1949 until 1952 when
the full bail was introduced. Features
include bronze
bearings, "boomerang" angled anti-reverse switch, spring-loaded folding handle with incised aluminium knob, self-closing claw bail
arm with hardened
line guide and push button metal spool. The paintwork is pretty good with only light scratches and rubbing on the rims consistent with light use. Mechanically it is near perfect with virtually no wear. Excellent condition for its age. Recently serviced and ready to go fishing again! Collectable & highly usable...
